Photos by Jorge Hernandez Jr. and DC Claudio The Texas Heatwave show in Austin, TX is the largest show we cover all year long. With nearly a couple thousand registered vehicles on the show grounds, you know it can be one wild party. This year, Heatwave Inc. teamed up with WEGO to add a stop on the WEGO Tour. Many of the tour's followers were on hand to witness the behemoth event! Since many of them have never attended a Heatwave event before, they wouldn't know how many activities and events were planned for this year and every year the show has been in existence. Events such as the monster trucks, burnout, car hop, bikini contest, and the tattoo expo events that Heatwave is bringing to nearly all stops along the tour were in full swing. This was a great year for them to attend also because this year's show trumped the shows over the last couple of years. It's as if somebody turned up the excitement knob by a few notches. We saw USA Motorsports bring back Cyclone, its world famous car dancer, from the dead to take on its arch nemesis - Hellboy. Though you could hear arguments from both ends on who won that battle, we feel that Cyclone took the fight. The bikini contest was white hot with some of the most gorgeous ladies the Lone Star State has to offer filling the outside stage area. We also saw the return of The Dirty Wormz, a staple in the Heatwave shows. These events, on top of a massive showing and enormous spectator turnout make this show extraordinary. We are blessed to be a part of it all.
