The only stop of 2011 for us in Louisiana almost didn't happen. Thank goodness Roger contacted us a couple of weeks before the show to touch base. Until then, we had no idea of what the details for the show were.

We made small adjustments to our schedule to allow for a Saturday visit to Lake Charles. As always, The Lakefront Tour turned out to be a fun show; One of our favorites every year.

The reason of course is because of all the activity. These guys do it for the sport. Speaking of sports, it was like watching athletes competeing for gold in some of the day's activities. Brady Robinson of Lake Charles almost took out a finger when he competed in the creeper races. Mitch Johnson, also from Lake Charles, took down more crawfish than a mudpuppy winning the crawfish eating contest.

The guys from Twisted Offroad were literally smoking when they ran their dually over several crushed cars outside. We weren't exactly sure what they damaged, but that truck wouldn't move after it was all said and done.

We always get excited to see the Fanatasy Girl Contest each year. This year, hottie Zabrina Lusker took the top prize, but it could have easily have gone to Amy Champagne, Emily Reed, or Mia Greene. All four ladies were smoking hot and in the final running for the number one spot.

This year, we were only able to attend one day. Though we would have liked to have stayed the whole weekend, we got more coverage than some shows put into an entire event.
